About the position

LKAB Wassara is growing, therefore it’s important that we share our thoughts, views and experiences through an inclusive climate where everyone feels welcome and contributes. Together with supportive managers and colleagues you contribute to development and that goals are achieved. Now we need to strengthen the Marketing team with a Key Account / Area Manager who we believe has previous experience of:

  • Identifying, cherish and developing long-term customer relationships in an international market, primarily in Europe.
  • Driving sales of technical solutions, primarily in the segment Ground engineering such as construction engineering/foundation work/tunneling/mining/geo-energy and dams.
  • Developing business opportunities through, product launches, offer-packaging/pricing and marketing communication.
  • Educating existing and new suitable distributors.
  • Marketing planning, procurement and competitor analyzes.
  • Have all eyes on developments and trends at the market and, based on that, propose suitable moves and resources.

You will report to the Marketing and Sales Director, either based at the head office in Huddinge/Stockholm or at other location in Central Europe. The position involves regular travel, mainly within Europe. As LKAB in general, we strive for diversity and for this position we therefore especially encourage female applicants.


Your qualifications

We’re looking for you who have a university degree within technology, economics, marketing or equivalent work experience, preferably within industrial and international sales and relevant product/application knowledge. We’re growing and therefore initiative and a strong interest in developing the business are important qualities. In summary; you have sales within you, which means taking initiative and making things happen. Moreover, we are looking for a person that works in a structured way, is a trustworthy person and experienced negotiator who takes responsibility for approach and actions. It’s a matter of course that you share our values ​​Commitment - Innovation - Responsibility. The position requires driving license and that you speak and write fluent Swedish and English. Other European languages, preferably German, ​​is an advantage.
