Regional Sales Manager – Export

LKAB Wassara is in a significant growth phase and now needs to strengthen the Marketing Department with a Regional Sales Manager, responsible for export sales outside EU.

With clear goals and a strong mindset together with supportive managers and colleagues, you contribute to the positive sales growth within your region.

In this Position, you report to the LKAB Wassara CEO, and you are responsible for Sales and Marketing within your region and additionally actively participate in LKAB Wassara global Sales and Marketing activities and development.


Your responsibilities

  • Identify market potential within our segments and develop long-term customer relationships in an international market, primarily in North- and South America but also with possibility in other non-EU regions.
  • Proactively drive sales, through both social media channels as well as on-site visits, within our Drilling and Surveying Systems and related products for varying applications.
  • Continuously follow the market's needs / development / trends and propose product development needs in collaboration with our own R&D Department.
  • Coordinate with LKAB Wassara Marketing Department regarding planning and execution of marketing activities, campaigns, etc. within your region.
  • Collaborate between different functions in the company from R&D Department, Planning, Production and Delivery/Logistics.


This position requires the ability to communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Additional business level skills in Spanish or other languages ​​are a major advantage to succeed in this position. A Swedish driver’s licence is a necessity.

The assignment involves regular international travel, at least 50 days/year, mainly North- and South America. The position is based in Huddinge, south of Stockholm.


Your qualifications

At least 5-10 years solid experience and documented business success in Technical B2B International Sales.

We believe that the successful candidate has a relevant academic degree in technology supplemented with marketing and/or equivalent education.

Besides that, a management- and leadership experience is a great advantage along with interest and openness to take on greater responsibility.

Regardless of background, an interest in technology and a solid understanding of mechanics are a crucial prerequisite for success in the role.

Previous experience from one of our segments (Ground engineering, Dams, Tunnelling, Mining, Geothermal) or closely related industry is a strong advantage for any candidate.

This to be able to conduct a high-level dialogue and connect with worldwide distributors and end customers in each country. An established contact network of an essential nature in one of the countries/regions you will work in, is a strong advantage.

As previously stated, LKAB Wassara is in a growth phase, the ability to take initiative, be self-motivated, and the ability to recognize and pursue opportunities are crucial qualities.

In short, you are committed and have Sales and Business Development in you and are inspired by success as well as finding new paths and innovation in the face of adversity.
