Project Description:
Beatrix Gold Mine in South Africa was looking for ways to improve productivity for drilling up to 35 meter long box holes. By using Wassara W80 together with the small and robust water-driven rig from South Africa based company Hydro Power Engineering (HPE) the goal was achieved.
Result:
The straight holes drilled with Wassara W80 have improved productivity in the mine. Furthermore, the working environment for the miners has improved due to the reduction of dust and elimination of oil mist.
