LKAB Wassara attended Geofluid in Italy - many new contacts were made

The exhibition was very well visited, and we had many interesting meetings with new and old customers.

Our message this time was, among many things, that we are celebrating 30 years as a company and that we have new products in the pipeline.

Wassara is celebrating 30 years!

It all started in 1988 in Malmberget in the northern part of Sweden. The iron mine LKAB was looking for a new drilling method since they needed to scale up production. To be able to do this they needed to drill longer and straighter blast holes. The water powered Wassara hammer was born!

Leading the development!

Wassara have for 30 years developed and improved its hammers to be able to meet the market. You can see and read more about all our products here on our website: Products

Now Wassara’s worldwide patented water powered drilling hammers are used all over the world in several business areas; Mines, hydro power dam constructions, all type of ground engineering applications, geothermal projects etc.

Made in Sweden!

All hammers are designed and developed by our own R&D department and produced in Sweden in our own factory! This is something we are very proud of and that gives us the possibility to develop and improve our products for the future.
